FLY FISHING LAKES
June 11, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
$75Richard Stoll, environmental scientist and limnologist (a scientist who specializes in lakes) will be teaching this class on trout fishing in Lakes. Subjects covered will include the lake dynamics, what makes a productive trout lake, where to find trout in lakes, lake trout foods and their imitations, and how to fish lakes. Richard will share locations and fishing methods for select western and eastern Washington lakes. The class will include several morning hours in the classroom then reconvene in the afternoon on a local lake for a practical session.
If you have these items bring a float tube and fins, pram, small lake boat or pontoon boat. Since Peninsula Outfitters has only a limited number of these to lend these will be ‘first come first serve’. We recommend you bring a 4-wt to 7-wt rod with a floating line. A second slow sinking lake line may be useful.
